Letter from the Owner
Welcome to Soffia Via! (Italian for "to blow away/it blows away). Our salon was conceived after the discovery of an emerging trend on each of our coasts for a new salon concept where women could come in an get a "Blowout," which is the art, beauty and sustainability of a shampoo and blowdry style. Combined with the discovery that there was not only a want for this type of salon in our community, but there was also a need! Located at 135th and Metcalf, Soffia Via is surrounded by hospitals, out-patient surgical centers and rehabilitation facilities. It has been my vision with designing this salon to cater the everyday woman, man, businesswoman, fashionista and woman in need (who cannot physically shampoo or blow dry their own hair).
Soffia Via is a place to come blow away your stress, your worries, a place to relax and treat yourself. We are a full service salon offering Blowouts, Hair Color, Hair Cuts, Extensions, and some of the finest retail products known in the world of cosmetology.
With an expansive, beautiful white Blowout Bar, both men and women will feel at home. We've taken this emerging trend and reconfigured it for the people of Kansas City. A populous of people that are also very philanthropic. It is my vision to also give partial proceeds of blowout services to charitable causes. On the day of your special event, mention your cause to your appointment maker and we'll make sure to give a donation to your favorite charity! How cool is that?
